Doing a personality test
In this personality test, students choose the option which best represents their attitude in various situations. From this, they 'discover' whether they are driven more by rationality or emotion. You can then go on to a discussion of this topic and/or focus a little on the language in the text - in particular, verbs which are used to express ideas and mental activities. This is a piece of sample material from English Result Pre-Intermediate.
