Winners Plus is a 3-level course package for upper-primary in Poland by Mark Hancock and Cathy Lawday. It is carefully paced to present new language in manageable chunks.

New Ways to Go is a 4-level coursebook for Spanish secondary schools. Levels 1 and 2 were written by Penny Ur, Ramón Ribe and Mark Hancock.

There are 18 units in the book, each concerning a different aspect of grammar. For each unit, there are photocopiable pages - one for the song, one of practice exercises and one which is a game.

In Pen Pictures 2, pupils use various picture types to help them write a range of different texts, including letters to friends and short stories.

The tasks, texts and language focus in English Result Pre-intermediate have been desgined to take a strong A1-level students to A2+ on the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).

There are lots of different game types in this book - board games, crossword puzzles, card games, chant games... Why games? I like them because they offer bite-sized challenge.
